U COMMENT I FOLLOW
As blogger and a Search Engine Optimizer, I’m searching over the internet to some dofollow blogs to help me out to gain some backlinks from other blogs. Not only to gain some backlinks but also to increase my search engine rankings. This method will help boost your PageRank as well. Another way to increase your rankings in search engine such in Google is commenting on other blogs. Commenting on other dofollow blogs will gain you some backlinks and will help your chances in search engine rankings. On the other hand my own blog has a nofollow code embedded on my template which other bloggers who want to comment one of my post will not gain backlinks. This is not fair to those bloggers who comment on my blog because it blocks them from getting “link love” or “Google Juice“. That’s why I’m removing the nofollow code or tag on my so when you leave a comment with a link back to your blog, that your link will get some love. Almost all blog platforms by default are set up so that a “dead end” (that’s what they call it) piece of code is inserted wherever there is a link in a comment, so that search engines will not “count” the link as they are crawling the internet. This was originally designed to help stop comment spam. Turning off the “nofollow” on blog comments has become a sort of “movement”. Well, if we’re going to have a movement, we should have something to show our readers that we’re part of it.Randa Clay has a great article about this. She has created some “I Follow” logos that would work well for a side bar. And if you’ve written a post like this one, letting your readers know that you’ve turned off nofollow in your comments, you could link the logo to that post.
